FOURSIGHT™ – AN INDIPENSIBLE RESOURCE

The image above in FourSight™️ parlance represents what is known as a “Driver”. That’s my FourSight type. From left to right, the dots mean “clarify”, “ideate”, “develop” and “implement”. It means for me that I tend to zip through clarifying the problem, then have a LOT of ideas, spend but a little time in developing and refining them — and tend to jump into implementing the idea. This is a very basic and broad interpretation, but it gives you the gist of it. However there are many variations on this model. Each unique challenge may dictate different emphases on various points of the spectrum, other unique combinations and styles of team members may do the same, and there are also more hybrid types of behavior. Knowing your creative problem and thinking process tendencies helps one to know how to behave in different conditions, how to recruit an ideal team for specific purposes, how to frame questions and problems for optimal team interaction, and many more uses. The self-administered assessment is available online, is quick and easy (only 36 questions with instant scoring) and is enormously helpful when attacking any task as an individual or team. It works in the same space as tools like Myers–Briggs Type Indicator and DISC and others, but for me it is a favorite tool, because I am in the innovation, create problem solving, and team building business. These few examples notwithstanding, FourSight’s applications are virtually endless. Even if you’re an “average person” looking how to become a better person, how to make better connections, get more traction, or become more successful, I highly recommend it. The self-awareness alone is well worth it.
